As the title of the book says, its a list of simple ways to not bother much, about little things in life.

Precisely written collection of 100 realistic techniques that help us take life's little things easy and save us our precious time, emotions and energy. I believe these ideas would get applied any day, any period as we humans have little to no difference, in how we process emotions since ages.

The author beautifully says how most of us consider life to be an emergency, which is indeed true. He remarks that most of our sub-conscious reactions are either fight or flight, during crisis. The very purpose of this book is to help us lead a peaceful life, wherein we only bother or invest in things that really matter and not sweat every small stuff.

Most of us suffer from burn outs, Richard tells us the reason for it and also a wonderful solution to avoid it . Analogous to a famous saying in finance, "Paying for oneself before paying for anything(one) else" , spending time for oneself before spending time for other activities, ensures that we feel relaxed and not burned out. That personal time could be used for pursuing any hobby or exercise or even sitting quiet doing nothing.

A small book of many such pearls of wisdom, if practiced are sure shot ways to help us enjoy peace, health and happiness, which each one of us strive for !!!

Some thought provoking lines that convey the essence of life..

Change the things that can be changed, accept those that cannot and have the wisdom to know the difference

"Why are they doing this? to "What are they trying to teach me?"

Much of our anxiety and inner struggle stems from our busy overactive minds always needing something to entertain them, something to focus on, and always wondering What's next?

When we accept our problems as an inevitable part of life, when we look at them as potential teachers, it is as if a weight has been lifted off our shoulders.
