Absolutely a short and enlightening read for beginners who want to start any type of small to medium scale garden, be it a Container garden, Backyard garden or a Raised bed garden. Moreover it explains further on different types like Vegetable gardening, Flowers gardening or Herbs gardening.

It almost covers all of the aspects that a beginner needs to know like companion planting, nature and composition of the soil, specific sunlight requirements for plants, watering, manuring, pests and pollinators, invasive plants essential gardening tools etc...

And a lot of practical tips that I hear for the first time, like its better to water in the mornings than evenings as it can undo a bit of the effects of overwatering if any and thereby preventing bacterial or fungal growth, plants that should not be planted together, and that herbs need frequent trimming to grow well and so on.

Do read this book if you are a beginner in gardening and planning to get your thumb green.
